Carlsbad crews must be ready 24/7 to respond to all types of emergencies. Exhibit A: Mike Divine, Lorenzo Davenport, Marco Castillo, Ramiro Sandoval and Chris Sanchez jumped into action Monday to make an emergency repair to a water main (mains are large pipes) off Palomar Airport Road to keep water flowing to nearby businesses.
