Carlsbad’s newest park continues to take shape in northwest Carlsbad. Construction is taking a little longer than expected due to a few surprises when removing the decades-old reservoir at the site. That part is all done now.
The Carlsbad City Council approved additional funding this week to cover these issues and put money aside just in case there any other complications. More details are in the City Council staff report.
The park is expected to open in fall 2021. The beautiful neighborhood park features breathtaking views and will include:
Children’s play area
Loop pathway around the park
Picnic areas with shade
Benches
Parking
