The City currently owns approximately 220 individual parcels of land. Of these properties, the majority are currently developed with city buildings, parks, fire stations, and
associated public facilities. Approximately 20 parcels consist of undeveloped or vacant properties that were set aside for environmental mitigation, drainage areas, or open space as part of a prior development or capital project. Fourteen distinct sites are vacant or undeveloped properties that the City has either identified an intended use for, or which no intended use has been identified. Staff will review each of these properties with the City Council to confirm the intended land use, accept direction related to new proposed land uses, or defer use of the property to a later date.
