VISTA, CA — With temperatures forecast to be above 90 degrees this weekend, the City of Vista will open a Cooling Center on Saturday, Sept. 5 and Sunday, Sept. 6 in the Civic Center Community Room, 200 Civic Center Drive. The closest parking is in the lots at the corner of Civic Center and Alta Vista Drives. Hours are Noon – 5 p.m.
Due to COVID-19, safety measures will be in place to protect the health of Cooling Center visitors and staff. Anyone entering the Cooling Center will have their temperature taken. All visitors and staff must also wear face coverings and practice social distancing. Time limits may be in place due to limited capacity.
