Classical Academy Vista Where Education Meets Innovation

With a range of programs, or “tracks,” designed to suit the needs of each family, the school provides a flexible, personalized, and engaging learning experience that combines traditional classroom experiences with homeschooling.

Founded in 1999, the Classical Academy organization values parent partnership, collaborating with parents to create individual learning plans for each student. This partnership allows students to thrive, excel, and become successful thinkers, communicators, and achievers. The school offers small class sizes, quality credentialed teachers, and an acclaimed character education program that instills important values
in students.

Originally established as a learning center in the Vista Business Park in 2010, Classical Academy Vista became an official charter school approved by the San Diego Office of Education in 2018. The school now resides off University Drive at the former National University campus, which was recently purchased and renovated in 2021. The new campus offers spacious classrooms, outdoor play areas, and ample parking, making it an ideal learning environment. Over 550 students attend this new campus.

At Classical Academy Vista, each track offers small class sizes, quality credentialed teachers, and integrates an acclaimed character education program. The school values parent partnership and collaborates with parents to create individual learning plans for each student. This partnership has been a priority since the organization’s inception in
1999 and allows students to thrive, excel, and become successful thinkers, communicators, and achievers. Parents are encouraged to actively participate in their child’s education, and their involvement is highly valued.

In addition to the traditional classroom experiences, Classical Academy Vista also offers a full-time independent study program and a new virtual program, which includes live instruction in a virtual classroom a couple of days per week. These hybrid programs provide a flexible schedule, enabling families to instill cultural or family values without the limitations of a traditional school calendar.

The school provides various extracurricular activities, such as music, musical theater, choir, art, field trips, park days, and movie nights, giving students a chance to explore their interests outside of the classroom.

Students from San Diego, Orange, and Riverside counties are welcome, and the school is currently enrolling for the 2023-2024 school year.Classical Academy Vista is now enrolling for fall 2023.
