Clean Energy Alliance (CEA) is proud to announce the launch of its revolutionary Solar Plus program in collaboration with Tesla, Inc and Participate.Energy. The Solar Plus program offers single-family homeowners rooftop solar and battery storage installation with no out-of-pocket upfront costs.
By enrolling in the program, customers will equip their homes with microgrids that contribute to both personal energy needs and broader community benefits. The Solar Plus program offers all customers energy independence and reliable power at predictable energy rates resulting in significant savings over the term of the program.
Participating households will enjoy a multitude of benefits under the Solar Plus program:
Zero Upfront Cost: Customers can embrace on-site green energy production without a cost barrier.
Emergency Backup Power: The program offers a Tesla Powerwall battery, reducing peak demand charges and providing emergency backup power in the event of blackouts or Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) events.
Cost-Competitive Rates: The program offers cost-competitive energy generation rates while offsetting transmission and delivery charges, leading to significant savings over the course of the program.
Rate Stability: Customers can lock in long-term rates that provide certainty and savings over time, enhancing financial stability.
Optional EV Charging and Minor Home Improvements: Participants have the option to include universal EV chargers and minor site remediation, further enhancing the eco-friendly footprint of their homes.
Exceptional Service: Customers can expect a seamless experience and top-tier service throughout the program, with customer service and maintenance of the equipment provided by Tesla, Inc.
The Solar Plus program offers several benefits to CEA, including ensuring equal access to green power solutions for all single-family residential customers, thereby extending clean energy advantages throughout the community. By expanding the number of solar and battery systems within CEA’s service area, CEA is actively contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. These systems also enhance grid reliability by enabling customers to utilize stored energy during peak demand hours in the evening.
“Our Solar Plus program brings together cutting-edge technology, innovation and a shared vision for a greener, more sustainable future,” said CEA Chair Dave Druker. “It’s a revolutionary step towards democratizing clean energy access, empowering communities, and fostering a more sustainable future for all.”
The Solar Plus program is made possible by CEA’s partnership with Tesla, Inc. and Participate. Energy LLC. For more information on this program, visit https://thecleanenergyalliance.org/solar-plus/
The savings expressed are estimates and based on average combined energy use and rates by customers in the service area. The saving statements are intended to provide general information and do not reflect any guarantee of savings. Solar and battery systems are designed to support current and future energy use, however there are many factors that can impact costs and savings for each individual customer.
