On Wednesday, July 18, 2024, at approximately 1757 hours, officers from the Oceanside Police Department responded to a radio call of a suspect recording people in the restroom of Dominic’s Italian Restaurant, located at 268 Harbor Drive South. Upon their arrival, officers contacted three adult victims and one juvenile victim. Two of the victims located the suspect’s cell phone concealed inside a storage container of the restroom. Those victims contacted the manager of the location and it was discovered the cell phone belonged to a juvenile employee of the business. Police detained the juvenile suspect who was later released to family members.

Detectives from the Oceanside Police, Family Protection have taken the lead on this investigation and are currently attempting to identify any other victims. The names of the parties involved in this investigation will not be released.
