San Diego’s popular “Couples Unfiltered” podcast will be recorded before a live audience Thursday, Sept. 18, the latest special event designed to celebrate Vista’s iconic AVO Playhouse.
A beer and wine garden reception starts at 5 p.m. followed by the show at 6:30 p.m.
The event brings four couples — married, committed or best friends/co-workers — onto the stage in a game show format to reveal how they’ve kept their relationships vibrant and strong.
Each partner takes turns answering questions onstage while their significant other is offstage in a soundproof room. The second partner then returns to answer the same questions. Points are awarded when both partners provide the same answer to a question.
Podcast hosts Lionel and Natalie Saulsberry will dig a little deeper into answers to provide fun and revealing insights as to what makes successful relationships tick.
Each couple also can earn extra points during simple physical skill tests, and answer surprise questions from the audience.
The winning team will receive an amazing night of entertainment valued at $500.
The event will be distributed as a future Couples Unfiltered episode.
