Vista Firefighters would love for you to join them at The Belching Beaver in downtown Vista on Tuesday March 9th from 4-8 pm as we continue to rally around Andy Valenta and his family. This will be a walk up event. Available for purchase will be 500 32 ounce Crowlers of “True Grit” IPA- a collaboration beer done with Belching Beaver, as well as True Grit tee shirts and koozies. All proceeds will be donated to the Valenta Family. Please come out at 4 pm on the 9th! Pick up a crowler and some swag- and hang for a bit at the Belching Beaver. Please help in raising support for Caylie, Lily, and Grace with whatever needs they may have during these trying times.
Andy Valenta, a Firefighter/Paramedic with 12 years of service with the Vista Fire Department, was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma on January 8th, 2021. Stage 4 cancer has spread to his brain, lungs, and bones. Andy is a boisterous member of the Vista Fire Family, touching the lives of all around him through his infectious smile, positivity, and compassion. Now the support and love he has provided to so many over the years are needed by his own family as they deal with this challenging chapter in their lives.
