Two individuals were arrested this week in connection with a violent road-rage incident that occurred on August 24, 2025, near Calle Jules and Via Felicidad in Vista. The confrontation, which involved a Toyota Sequoia and a Jeep Cherokee, left a pedestrian with major injuries and caused significant damage to multiple vehicles.

The driver of the Toyota Sequoia, identified as Lindsey Bigbey (06/17/84), was aggressively pursuing the Jeep Cherokee through a residential neighborhood. During the chase, the Sequoia struck a pedestrian and several parked cars. The chase ended when Bigbey’s vehicle collided head-on with another car, rendering it inoperable.

Bigbey then fled the disabled vehicle on foot, entering the passenger side of the Jeep she had been chasing. The driver of the Jeep, Nathan Robson (10/21/82), then fled the scene with Bigbey, leaving the seriously injured pedestrian behind. The victim was transported to a local hospital with major injuries.

After a multi-day search, deputies located and arrested Bigbey and Robson on August 27, 2025, in the 2600 block of E Mission Bay Drive in San Diego. Both suspects were booked into the Vista Detention Facility on multiple felony charges, including hit-and-run, assault with a deadly weapon, and aiding and abetting. The investigation by the Vista Traffic Unit is ongoing.
