ESCONDIDO — The California Center for the Arts, Escondido, is projecting its third straight year of positive income after years of financial struggle, leaders told residents during Tuesday’s town hall.
CCAE Foundation Executive Director Gina Lopez told about 50 people during Tuesday’s town hall that new programs, record attendance, and diversified revenue streams have helped address financial headwinds, although she remains cautious as operations enter a “stabilizing” phase.
Despite losing a $250,000 revenue source, projections for Fiscal Year 2025-26 remain strong with estimates showing $7.8 million in revenue and a positive net income of $509,166.
