This is the first year that the Escondido Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the Rising Star Program. Each month during the school year seven students are nominated from seven Escondido High Schools to speak at the Rising Star Breakfast hosted at The Centre® in the Crystal Ridge room. The goal of the Chamber is to award $14,000 in scholarships this year. The next Rising Star Escondido will be March 14, 2018.
