Escondido Fire Department

On March 24, the Escondido Police and Fire Communication Center received reports of a vehicle accident near the intersection of Birch Ave and Citrus Ave. When firefighters arrived, they found two vehicles had collided with another, causing live power lines to fall on one of the vehicles. SDG&E de-energized the power lines and firefighters were then able to safely remove the adult victim from the vehicle. Two adult patients were transported to Palomar Medical Center.https://fire.escondido.org/
