On June 26, a crew of Escondido Firefighters deployed on the OES Brush Engine at Station 6 “Union” Fire in Riverside County to assist CAL FIRE. The fire burned 110 acres, threatened many homes, and caused several neighborhoods to evacuate. The fire was 100% contained by June 29 and our firefighters safely returned home that morning.
