Escondido, CA – The Escondido Library Foundation has generously donated six new AWE Early Learning Stations and six new AWE Early Learning Tablets to the Escondido Public Library!
The stand-alone stations have the latest educational software, a touchscreen interface and are bilingual in English and Spanish. These AWE Early Learning Stations and Tablets support school readiness and literacy in the community. The tablets are useful for a more hands-on learning experience for families when they visit the library. The tablets are for use inside the library with a valid library card.
The six tabletop stations are now available for use in the Youth Services Department and the six tablets are expected to be available at the Youth Services desk by the new year. The gift of the 12 devices doubles the Library’s inventory of these valuable literacy tools for children.
