Last Saturday, the City of Escondido Public Works Department hosted a volunteer event to plant trees around Grand Avenue. Nearly 40 volunteers came out to plant trees and improve the condition of the planters in Parking Lot #1. Pictured is Lead Maintenance Technician and ISA Certified Arborist Jacob Gibbs, performing a demonstration on correctly planting a tree and giving it the best chance to thrive. Thank you to the community members who participated in keeping our Escondido healthy and beautiful!
