On June 8, the PAL Basketball Championships were held with a huge response and show of support from the community. Our very own Officer Donahue found time between radio calls to participate at the event and awarded the medals to the winners.
On June 10, a good portion of the department and family were on hand to witness Chief Varso swearing in four of Escondido’s newest police officers.
They will begin the 6-month police academy on June 17.
