Alta Vista Botanical Gardens is now in the tenth year of getting kids outdoors to discover their environment, enjoy nature, dig into gardening, learn about natural resources, and to share art and music.
This month the Kids in the Garden class will feature the story Stone Soup – we will read the story then make the soup, cutting up veggies and cooking up a tasty hot treat.
If you like, bring your favorite vegetable to add! We will then mix and roll out breadsticks.
Should be another fun day in the Gardens and nature!
The Kids in the Garden class emphasizes hands-on discovery
and fun for all!
Plan to come to Alta Vista Botanical Gardens (at the top of the hill inside Brengle Terrace Park) on Saturday December 8, between 10 am and 12 pm.
The Gardens are open every day for a $5 entry fee, free for members.
