About B & D Auto Repair: B & D Auto Repair and Service started in the beginning of 1994 by Doug Jones. He began a business that he was well experienced in. The goal Doug set to meet was to provide an auto shop that was ethical to its customers, suppliers and employees, also competitive in pricing with unsurpassed customer service.
30 years in business is an impressive accomplishment and couldn’t have been achieved without a good customer base and a crew of technicians that understand and uphold the goal set by Doug all those years ago. To create a solid crew, Doug provides his employees with good pay, medical/dental coverage, retirement plans, professional development and a friendly environment to work productively in.
Doug is extremely grateful for his clientele. Being in business for 30 years, he has loyal repeat customers as well as new ones every day. Doug along with his service writers Ryan, Devon, and Henry, know their customers and fulfill their need for a trusted auto repair shop.
B & D Auto is a landmark of Vista contributing to the city by means of the Chamber of Commerce, community outreach programs, and individual citizens. Doug’s commitment to Vista doesn’t just emanate from the shop’s services that keep people safe on the roads it also derives from his individual giving. B & D Auto supports groups with donations. “Car Wash Buckets” are a favorite for fundraisers, they have everything you need to wash your car plus a gift certificate for services. The kindest endowment are vehicles that Doug buys, repairs, then gives to families in need.
All these years, 30 to be exact, after B & D’s inception things have progressed and changed except for the vision Doug set to be an ethical, competitive business with unsurpassed customer service. Doug is very thankful for his patrons over the years and looks forward too many more years of servicing his community.
