Celeste Butler Moonlight Live Streaming Concert Series

Celeste Butler is a creative visionary, with a passion for art, community, and culture. Her heart for people and social change have shown their prominence through her roles as an international entertainer, multimedia event producer, and social change advocate. Since her start with Moonlight Youth (Peter Pan, Once on this Island, Forte for Children Benefit featuring John Legend, featured duet with Megan Hilty in Megan Hilty Under the Stars), Celeste has gone on to perform with legendary artists such as Diana Ross, Chaka Khan, and Esperanza Spalding. Some of her recent works include acting in an award-winning satirical short film entitled “Tokenism”, a web-series pilot entitled “Haven”, and a live Theater of the Oppressed piece entitled “Radical Fictions: A Seat at the Table” that debuted at the California African American Museum.

Celeste is a proud two-time alum of the University of Southern California (USC), where she graduated with a Bachelors of Music in Popular Music Performance and a Masters of Science in Arts Leadership. Currently, Celeste is filming a web-based series entitled “Gamer Girls”, writing and recording a Soul/Funk EP, and spearheading an inclusive social media initiative with Wendy Raquel Robinson’s nonprofit, Amazing Grace Conservatory.
