September marks Organic Harvest Month and Gelson’s is raising awareness around organic products, and the brands, producers and farmers who bring them to us, by partnering with Golden Road Brewing to offer a limited release brew – Organic Plant Back Hazy IPA – and accompanying “IPA Infused” Chicken Kabobs.
Grilling and beer go hand in hand, which is why Gelson’s Executive Chef Abe van Beek crafted Plant Back Organic Hazy IPA “Infused” Organic Chicken Kabobs to pair tastefully with Golden Road’s latest release. Skewered with organic red bell peppers and onions, the kabobs are 100% organic, free-range, locally raised and available exclusively at Gelson’s.
Brewed and exclusively canned for Organic Harvest Month, Plant Back Hazy IPA is Golden Road’s first hazy IPA brewed with organic malt, hops and yeast. Featured hops include Organic Amarillo, Organic Calypso, and Organic Bravo. The result yields a crispy, refreshing brew bursting with tropical fruit flavors. Each limited edition 6-pack comes with a plantable seed packet and Golden Road Brewing will donate $1 per 6-pack to local Southern California farms.
