Oceanside Public Library has begun offering tutoring to High School students at its Civic Center location, 330 N. Coast Highway. This drop in homework help takes place in the Teen Zone on Mondays from 3:30-5:30 p.m. (except Monday November 19th) while Oceanside Unified School District is in session, and is provided by library volunteers.
Need homework help at home? Oceanside Public Library offers Brainfuse HelpNow – on demand, anytime, anywhere eLearning for all ages and levels. Students communicate with live, online tutors using an interactive, virtual whiteboard to chat, write, draw, copy/paste text or images and graph homework problems. HelpNow offers personalized homework help in core subjects (math, reading, writing, science and social studies), including SAT preparation. It is available to all library patrons from the library’s website (www.oceansidepubliclibrary.org) and can be accessed with the public computers at their local library or from any computer with internet connection. HelpNow also offers skills building, test preparation and a Writing Lab where users can submit papers for detailed feedback.
