Hula on Down to ‘Aloha Plunge’ July 24th

Enjoy some summer fun when the Parks & Recreation Special Events team hosts the Aloha Plunge. Enjoy a night of island themed pool games and activities, giant inflatables, a splash pad and more. Finish the evening with a special Polynesian dance performance where the audience can learn the hula.

The City of Carlsbad’s Aloha Plunge is back and will take place this year on Saturday, July 24, at Alga Norte Aquatic Center. Enjoy fun, island themed games and pool activities, floating obstacles, a tropical bounce house, limbo and more. End the night with a special Polynesian dance performance where the audience can learn the hula.

Admission is $10 per person.
Children ages 3 and under are free and do not need to be individually registered, but must be identified when prompted at check out in the notes.
Register now. Event maxes at 500 participants.
Bring a swim suit and join the beach party!. Play in luau-themed pool activities including Tropical Tic-Tac-Toe, Tiki Toss and more. Race across the floating obstacles or dance around in the Splash Pad. For safety reasons, only pool noodles and US Coastguard approved flotation devices are allowed in the pool
Dry activities include a tropical bounce house and a photo op. The night ends with a special 45 min. Polynesian Show where the audience will have a chance to learn the hula, too.
Food and beverages are available for purchase at the event.
Tickets are available for purchase at the event. Save time and avoid lines by picking up event wristbands in advance. Wristbands will be available for pick up starting three weeks before the event and are only available at Alga Norte Aquatics Center during regular business hours.
All sales are final; no refunds. Wristbands that are picked up in advance that are lost or not brought to the event will not be replaced.
