The Library is hosting a free “Humans of Oceanside” program featuring people who bring O’siders together in unique ways. Join us in this community-building practice on Thursday, December 15 at 5:00 p.m. at the Civic Center Library Community Rooms, located at 330 North Coast Highway.
In an intimate setting with locally-sourced small bites, converse with a community farmer, mutual aid organizers, a culture connector and artist, roller skaters and silent disco dancers. Presenters were carefully selected because their organizations have been bringing the community together since their founding.
Presenters will each be stationed at their own table and guests will rotate after a timed interval to the next presenter to support a casual space that invites conversation. Attendees are encouraged to be curious and ask questions to get to know these humans, their work, and their passions on a deeper level.
Support for this program is provided by the Friends of Oceanside Public Library. The Oceanside Public Library aims to empower the community by promoting literacy, information access, civic engagement, cultural inclusiveness, and openness to new ideas.
