February 12th- Veggie Critters – create your own creatures using vegetables and fruits and your imagination.
Farmer Jones will lead the session. Veggie Critters are animals made using vegetables and fruits; children will even get to eat some of them! The session will include learning about nutrition and healthy eating. Then we will take a walkabout through the Gardens.
We are SO EXCITED to have so many families enjoying the Gardens! Hands-on activities and materials will be provided; you can bring your own as well.
NOTE: we will limit this class to 20 families. You’ll need to pre-register by Thursday so we can buy the food supplies. Pre-registration required at farmerjonesavbg@gmail.com or (760) 822-6824.
Class fee is $5 per person. You will pay Farmer Jones at the class. Class is FREE with $60 annual family membership in AVBG.
Pre-registration required at farmerjonesavbg@gmail.com or (760) 822-6824. Provide your child’s name and age for our roster.
One of the “perks” of family membership is that the Kids in the Garden class is free.
Farmer Jones really enjoys working with the kids and families – I’m a retired teacher and love gardening and our Gardens!
