Kids in the Garden Class: FIVE Senses and Nature Games

FIVE Senses and Nature Games from 10 a.m. to noon at Alta Vista Botanical Gardens. We’re now in our 11th year. Please plan to join us and enjoy a day in nature!

Kids in the Garden Class features using our FIVE senses in nature games, and then a walk through the Gardens to discover plants and the beauty of nature! Come see the newly constructed Scarecrows from the Fall Fun Festival. Our Festival on October 12th was attended by 900+ people.

Class fee is $5 per person, which supports the Gardens. Registration includes visit to the 14-acre Gardens.

Alta Vista Botanical Gardens are open every day from 8 am to 5 pm (10 am opening on Sunday) for all to explore the plants, the art and the views. The newest feature is the Children’s Discovery Trail with challenges and plant quiz boxes. Garden entry is $5 per person and $3 for children to age 12. The Kids in the Garden class with Farmer Jones is now in its eleventh year with a monthly class; the schedule is on the website.
