Library Workshops on Financial Planning for College Expenses 4/6, 4/13

College is expensive. Do you want to learn about the best way to pay for it? Find out the cost? Oceanside Public Library wants to help you prepare for financial independence. Financial Planner Greg Schmitt will provide two workshops describing opportunities available to pay for college, and outline steps you can take today to get the ball rolling toward a brighter future.

Workshops will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mission Branch Library (3861-B Mission Ave) and Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Civic Center Library (330 N. Coast Hwy). Topics will include understanding college costs, learning what your options are for funding those costs, and exploring help you can get along the way. Both sessions present the same material, so you only need to attend one. No preparation is required. These sessions will provide you with knowledge and insight to make informed decisions about your finances.

This event is FREE, geared towards high school students and their families, and is sponsored by the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library.
