Join us for a fun day of food & drink in the Garden!
Sponsored by the North County Homebrewer’s Association, this year’s event is the largest mead event on the west coast. We have over 25 meaderies, breweries and homebrew clubs joining in the fun!
Do you like Mead? What about Beer, Wine, or Cider? Are you interested in supporting a botanical garden with over a decade of public education and preservation of all things green and growing? Would you like to learn about brewing from one of the top homebrewing clubs in the country? If so, we hope you’ll participate in the “Meading At The Garden” festival on Saturday, April 7 in the Alta Vista Botanical Gardens (at the top of Brengle Terrace Park in Vista, CA.)
Check out the new Viking area with axe-throwing, a viking mead hall, blacksmithing and leatherworking.
The silent bottle auction features a boutique selection of uncommon and rare bottles of ale and mead.
There will also be raffle prizes and a Golden Ticket Giveaway at the end of the day!
A 5-course gourmet mead and food pairing (VIP) will preface the main event for all you foodies out there. During the main event we have the Good Seed Food Company serving up contemporary gourmet cuisine, as well as Enzo’s Barbeque serving popular BBQ favorites.
Live music performances on the VIP stage from 11-1, and on the main stage from 1-5pm.
Come help the earth and have fun doing it. The gardens need your support, so bring all your friends!!
Only 80 VIP tickets are available, so get yours before they’re gone. We look forward to “meading” you there!!!
Admission limited to persons 21 years of age and older. Event occurs “Rain or Shine”. Sorry but no refunds are possible given this is a non-profit benefit.
