Join the Oceanside Public Library and the City of Oceanside Neighborhood Services Department, Housing Division for a Rental Property Owners’ Seminar on Tuesday, March 19, 8:00 -11:30 a.m. in the City Council Chambers, 300 North Coast Highway. The program will include informative presentations by knowledgeable representatives from Interfaith Community Services, Law Offices of Kimball, Tirey & St. John LLP, Legal Aid Society of San Diego, Inc., Oceanside Housing Authority and the Oceanside Police Department’s Crime Prevention Team.
This event is part of Oceanside Public Library’s multi-event program, Book to Action: Homelessness and the Housing Crisis in North County, which includes a community-wide read of Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City by Matthew Desmond. This grant-funded series aims to increase awareness of a national crisis and spark conversation resulting in locally relevant programming. This seminar intends to help rental property owners develop thoughtful and informed landlord practices.
