Senior Emergency Preparedness Event

At this event, you will:
· Learn about types of emergencies and what to do
· Hear how your community is preparing for emergencies
· Discover how to make your own plan
· Learn how to sign up to receive emergency alerts via cell phone and email
· Receive a free emergency “go-bag” starter kit*
Featured speakers include David Harrison, emergency preparedness coordinator, City of Carlsbad Fire Department and Mike McMahon, emergency preparedness volunteer with the City of Carlsbad.

This event is free and limited to the first 80 seniors to sign up. Please complete the form at right to register. Or, you may register in person at the front desk of the Carlsbad Senior Center or by calling 760-891-8176.
*Supplies are limited—free emergency starter kits will be given to first 80 participants who pre-register and attend the training session.
