The City of San Marcos is embarking on a General Plan Update, and we want your input to help shape the future of our City.
The General Plan serves as the guiding document for achieving the community’s vision for the future. The General Plan Update process will provide residents and businesses the opportunity to provide input to help shape the direction of the City going forward.
The General Plan addresses a range of important community topics like land use, housing, economic development, transportation, parks and recreation, community health, public safety, environmental justice and more. City staff, elected and appointed officials, business owners, developers and citizens can reference the General Plan for guidance on our community’s values and priorities.
Because most cities only update their General Plan every 20 years, this is a unique opportunity help envision and shape the future of our community. We need your participation to make the General Plan Update process a success!
