On Thursday, May 9 at about 1:00 PM, deputies from the Sheriff’s Vista Station responded to a vehicle collision in the 2000 block of Hacienda Drive in Vista.
A Subaru hatchback and a Suzuki motorcycle collided. The motorcyclist was transported by paramedics to Tri-City Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Subaru was uninjured. Both vehicles sustained major damage.
East and west bound traffic lanes between Via Centre and Thunder Drive on Hacienda Drive, were closed for several hours. Preliminary investigation suggests alcohol or drugs did not play a role in the collision. The Sheriff’s Vista Station Traffic Unit is handling the collision investigation.

motociclista de Vista murió en una colisión de vehículos.
