The Vista Chamber of Commerce holds a monthly gathering with current and possible future Vista business members called ‘Lunch Mob’. This months lunch location took place at WildWood Crossing and Cantina who are Chamber members. There is no agenda and business people meet to eat lunch and socialize. At this months meeting, Shannon Watkins from First Citizens Bank, presented a check to Susan Arias from the Vista Boys & Girls Club in the amount of $500 to their Money Matters Program.
As a key program supporting Academic Success, Money Matters helps teens overcome college and career readiness gaps by preparing them to succeed as they begin to manage their financial lives. Money Matters was designed to increase the financial literacy skills of Club teens. Money Matters Program gets youth started to make good decisions for their financial futures.
