Floating Pumpkin Patch was a Success

On Saturday October 23, the City of Escondido Aquatics Team hosted a Floating Pumpkin Patch at the James Stone Pool. Though it was a misty morning, the sun and the community came out in the afternoon to make this a successful inaugural event. The family friendly day included floating pumpkins for families to swim and splash around, a bounce house, face painting, music, games, and Halloween themed arts and crafts. This unique event drew in a crowd of drop-in and pre-registered participants to make for the perfect Halloween holiday event. The success of this event has prompted us to already start planning for next year!
