On October 4th, I am kicking off my campaign for Vista City Council at Prey Brewing Co. and you’re invited!

If we haven’t had the chance to meet yet, let me tell you a little about myself. My parents came to Vista in the early 1960s. They found work packing tomatoes and harvesting avocados. Thanks to their hard work and dedication, I grew up in the heart of this town, attending local schools and graduating from Vista High. Today, I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 28 years. We raised our three kids here in Vista, and we’re now proud grandparents.

I love Vista, but I also know we can do better as a community. I am running for City Council to keep our neighborhoods safe, repair and maintain our roads, upgrade our parks, support small businesses, and make Vista a more affordable place to live, work, and raise a family.

I can’t accomplish that vision alone. I am running against an entrenched incumbent, Corinna Contreras, who has proven to be more interested in pursuing her own political agenda than putting the needs of Vista families first. Your support will help me take her on and restore common sense leadership to our community. That begins at our kickoff on October 4th.
