CARLSBAD — One of the hottest authors is appearing for a book signing and is coming off the best year of his career.
Matthew Quirk, who lives in La Jolla, will be the featured speaker at the Dove Library to discuss his book, “The Night Agent.” The book, which was a New York Times bestseller in 2019, was adapted into a TV series and was Netflix’s most-viewed series (812 million hours) from January through June 2023, according to media reports.
Quirk said it was also the fifth-most viewed English-language show on the platform since Netflix began releasing data. (Netflix releases biannual viewing reports and uses hours viewed as its metric.)
