The Palomar College Police Department’s new headquarters is located near the heart of campus, in a state-of-the-art facility with key upgrades and more room for operations. With 7,640 square feet of space, including a large briefing room (that will serve as the Emergency Operations Center), dispatch center, locker rooms, holding cells and vehicle bay, the building is well-equipped for the challenges of serving a growing campus community.
Attendees at the grand opening ceremony are welcome to tour the new facilities for a rare behind-the-scenes look at an operational police station! The ceremony will conclude with photo opportunities with Palomar College administrators and distinguished guest speakers as well as VIP attendees.
Directions and parking:
The new station is adjacent to the parking structure in Lot 12, accessed most easily by taking Las Posas Road to Avenida Azul (1/3 of a mile north of Mission Road). Parking for the Grand Opening Ceremony will be available without a permit in Lot 12 during the hours of the event.
