The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office, Oceanside Police Department and the City of Vista to get unwanted guns off our streets.

Join us for a Gun Safety Event on:

Saturday, September 28

Turn in your unwanted gun and receive a gift card ($100 for handguns, rifles and shotguns and $200 for assault weapons and ghost guns). Remain anonymous. No questions asked.

Firearms must be in working order.

Place the unloaded firearm in the trunk of your vehicle.

A deputy or officer will provide instructions.

All weapons collected will be destroyed.

We are also providing FREE gun cable locks and security boxes (while supplies last) to people looking to secure firearms kept in their homes.
