North County Lifeline is partnering with organizations across San Diego County to conduct the annual ‘We All Count Campaign’. The Campaign brings together the Regional Task Force on the Homeless, community volunteers, and service providers to identify people experiencing homelessness in our communities.
The purpose of the ‘We All Count’ campaign is to conduct a street outreach count of those in need of services. The count will enable North County Lifeline, and other service providers, to secure government funding for desperately needed housing and mental health programs that serve people experiencing homelessness in San Diego County.
San Diego County has the 4th largest homeless population in the country! More than 7,000 people at any given time are among the homeless in San Diego County…even ONE is too many! Don’t let this severely under-served population go unnoticed!
Volunteers will count all individuals who spent the night in conditions considered unsheltered. This includes park benches, sidewalks, tents, vehicles, and RV’s. Ending homelessness begins with one person at a time. Click the button below to join forces with us on January 23rd, and let them all know THEY Count!
