Please join us for an informational meeting regarding the new Police Headquarters project. This in-person meeting will take place on Wednesday, March 15 at 6:00 p.m. at the El Corazon Event Center, located at 3306 Senior Center Drive. There is also an opportunity to join the meeting virtually (see info.at bottom).
The project is proposed to be located across from the El Corazon property on Rancho Del Oro Road.
Since 1999, the Oceanside Police Department Headquarters have been located in a shopping center at 3855 Mission Avenue, a facility that was intended to serve as a temporary location for 10 years.
The purpose of the March 15 meeting is to answer community questions and gather your input. Staff and the project architect will be present to provide an overview of the proposed facility, including its proposed layout and features.
Work on a Police Facility Study and the design and engineering of the project will be funded by Measure X, the City’s 1/2 cent sales tax.
