SAN MARCOS, Calif. — TERI Campus of Life, a nonprofit organization supporting the special needs community for over 45 years, will host TERI Unplugged, an intimate spring benefit concert featuring Grammy-winning singer-songwriter-guitarist Jason Mraz, on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at The Bornemann Theatre.

Limited to just 200 guests, the one-night, up-close event brings music and community together in support of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Proceeds from the evening directly benefit TERI Campus of Life and its programs, services, and social enterprises that have fueled a unique community that welcomes and celebrates all abilities.

In addition to Mraz, the night of music and impact will feature performances by American Idol’s Adin Boyer, pop-rock artist Sara Jade, and San Diego Music Award-winning musician Matthew Phillips. The lineup also includes the TERI Band—an ensemble of neurodiverse artists in TERI programs, who will perform with Mraz.

“TERI Unplugged represents what TERI is all about—connection, creativity, and possibility,” says Cheryl Kilmer, Founder and CEO of TERI Campus of Life. “By coming together through music, we can advance the completion of the TERI Campus of Life — a purpose-built, inclusive community where individuals and families thrive.”

TERI is currently working to meet a $3 million challenge grant from the Tom & Mary Tomlinson Foundation. For every $2 raised by the benefit concert, an additional $1 is unlocked by the grant — amplifying the impact of supporters and accelerating progress toward completing the TERI Campus of Life, which is currently half built and thriving. The organization plans to build two non-public schools, a gym, a technology center, and a child development center.
The evening begins with a hosted pre-show reception with hors d’oeuvres and drinks, followed by an immersive concert experience where every seat offers a close connection to the performers and the cause.
