Our next Kids in the Garden class will be Saturday June 10 from 10 am to noon.
We will be creating Recycled Art using things we’d usually throw away: egg cartons, tp rolls, soda bottles, meat trays, and cereal boxes. Please save and bring these and similar items, clean and ready to use. Farmer Jones will bring masking tape, glue, scissors, yarn, pipe cleaners, and cotton grown in the gardens and we’ll make unique art sculptures.
We’ll follow up with a walkabout through the Gardens (time permitting). Adults will stay with their kids.
Class fee is $5 per person which includes entry and time to enjoy the Gardens till closing at 5 pm!
Class is FREE if family has a family membership. Grandparents who have family memberships may bring their grandkids.
If you would like to attend this class, you will need to PRE-REGISTER with Farmer Jones by noon on June 9.
** Provide your child’s name and age for our check-in roster and indicate if you are family members.**
The Gardens are located at 1270 Vale Terrace Drive in Vista, at the top of the hill inside Brengle Terrace Park.
