OCEANSIDE, Calif. — March 10, 2020 — Mission Vista High School Timberwolves Foundation is bringing Hollywood Talent to Vista during its annual fundraiser to raise grant money for students and student programs. After a four-year run of a Casino Night-theme, the program committee is changing things up with the help of some serious Hollywood hook-ups. A Night of Comedy and Magic takes place Saturday, March 14, at the Vista Optimist Club and will feature talent from The Magic Castle, an exclusive club in Hollywood where comedic magicians perform and A-listers are entertained.
Tickets are still on sales for this event and are $75 which includes dinner, a parlor show and mainstage entertainment, photo booth, games, silent and live auction, and a cash bar complete with a bartending magician.
Lots of laughter and amazement is sure to ensue from 6pm until 10pm, with funds raised going right back to the programs that serve students at the dual-magnet high school.
Auction items are a big party of the fundraising with donations from many local and national companies. Some highlights include week-long vacations, a stay-cation getaway, Disneyland four-packs, a full set of braces, golf packages, wine tasting, certificate for a will and trust, graduation party venue rental, and many more! In fact, there are expected to be nearly 100 items to bid on with ticket sales capping at 150.
Business sponsorships are still available starting at $250, and individual tickets can be purchased at timberwolvesfounation.org. (note: Teachers, admin and coaches get a discounted ticket price of $55). Want to donate, sponsor or have questions, reach out to the program chair, Kathleen@timberwolvesfoundation.org.
