Deputies from the Vista Sheriff’s Station are investigating a shooting in Unincorporated Vista.
It happened on Friday, April 13th, around 9:06 p.m. near the intersection of Smilax Road and Mimosa Avenue in Unincorporated Vista.
The victim, a teen-age male, was shot as he was walking near the intersection of Smilax Road and Mimosa Avenue in Unincorporated Vista. Deputies arrived at the scene and discovered the male being treated by personnel from the San Marcos and Vista Fire Departments. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
There is currently no suspect description, and no suspects are in custody.
The victim is being treated at the hospital and is in stable condition.

Asalto con un arma mortal – Hombre de Vista
Baleado en Smilax Road, no incorporado Vista
Los Oficials de la estación del alguacil de Vista están investigando un tiroteo en Unincorporated Vista. It ocurrió el viernes 13 de abril, alrededor de las 9:06 p.m. cerca de la intersección de Smilax Road y Mimosa Avenue en Unincorporated Vista.
La víctima, un adolescente, recibió un disparo mientras caminaba cerca de la intersección de Smilax Road y Mimosa Avenue en Unincorporated Vista. Los Oficials llegaron a la escena y descubrieron que el hombre estaba siendo tratado por personal de los Departamentos de Bomberos de San Marcos y Vista. La víctima fue transportada a un hospital local para recibir tratamiento.
Actualmente no hay una descripción del sospechoso y no hay sospechosos bajo custodia.
