A community meeting place has became a victim of Covid-19. The Sunrise Cafe has closed permanently. We spoke with Bobby Jones earlier this week. He was certain of this fate and today it is official.

“It saddens our “Sunrise family” to have to tell everyone that we will not be reopening. As we have asked for financial help and assistance from our landlord, with no results, has led us to no choice but to close our doors. Over the past 14 years, Sunrise has been such a big part of our lives. We will truly miss the relationships that have evolved. So many family events that we were able to be a part of: newborn babies, birthdays, anniversaries, wedding proposals and celebrations of life will make us eternally grateful. We hope you and your family come through these difficult times happy and healthy.” Cory, Lori, Bobby Jones and Staff, an asset to our community, will truly missed.
