Last Sunday afternoon over 300 riders from 30 motorcycle clubs came from Arizona, Orange County, Riverside, Los Angeles and locally to help raise funds for Post 365. On November 1, 2017 American Legion Post 365 was robbed of over $10,000 which was earmarked for their Thanksgiving and Christmas programs in support of the troops and their families.

As a tremendous show of camaraderie Veterans, family and friends came to the club to show support. Over $13,000 of donations were collected from the motorcycle community which includes many veterans. Donations came in as far away as Austria. Motorcycles filled the entire American Legion parking lot. Members of different clubs re-acquainted with old friends and made new ones. Items were donated and a raffle was also held to raise funds, including a 50/50 winner who won $355.00.
This is the 7th Anniversary of this location which includes American Legion Post 365 and VFW Post 7041
They do many fundraisers throughout the year including Toys for Tots and Thanksgiving Dinners for Camp Pendleton and Miramar families. Over 50 turkeys and hams will be donated.
This is a fine example of how Americans show up when needs arise. God Bless America.
