City of Carlsbad is launching a free, new program called the Carlsbad Job-Readiness Room program that will match job seekers with an interview with a Carlsbad company in Hospitality & Food, Office Administration or Manufacturing after 15 hours of online learning.
This program is designed to be most helpful for residents who have been out of the
workforce, struggled to find work or are experiencing other barriers to employment.
Residents can sign up online or at these events:
Aug. 11, from 10 a.m. – noon or 3-5 p.m. at the Carlsbad City Library
Aug. 12, from 10 a.m. – noon or 3-5 p.m. at the Georgina Cole Library
