The Army Corps of Engineers’ (Corps) contractor has completed the annual dredging of the entrance of the Oceanside Harbor to ensure safe navigation for vessels.
The Corps estimates the total amount of dredged sand is approximately 220,000 cubic yards
. City staff continues to seek opportunities to gain beach quality sand from coastal developments through our Sand Compatibility Opportunistic Use Permit and other project options.
