Oceanside Police Investigate Stabbing at Pacific Harbor Campground

On Saturday, September 14, 2024, at approximately 2:15 am, the Oceanside Police Department received reports of a stabbing at 1450 N. Pacific Street, at the Pacific Harbor Campground. When units arrived on scene, they located a female subject lying on the ground, bleeding from her head. It was later determined there were two victims involved in this
incident. One victim was a Hispanic female adult who sustained a head injury and a Hispanic male juvenile who suffered a minor stab wound to the back and multiple abrasions. Both
victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment with non-life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses provided video of the incident. Based on the videos, two suspects were arrested. Jose Luis Talavera Galopino (11/5/93) and a Jocelyn Ignacio (4/26/03) were both booked into jail for PC 245-Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
