Oceanside, CA – On Monday, February 17, 2025, at approximately 09:43 pm, the Oceanside Police Department responded to a traffic collision involving an Oceanside Police Motor Unit and another vehicle near the intersection of SR-76 and the Northbound I-5 off-ramp. The officer, had just cleared a detail and was traveling to OPD when the collision occurred.
The officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The driver of the other vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
